Doctor's Answer

Hello, Enterogermina is a good probiotic combination for the managing diarrheal symptoms but should be taken under doctor guidance with dietary modifications. If you are having IBS-M meaning both episodes of diarrhea and constipation then it's better to not take it for a longer duration as it may increase bloating and worsen the condition. Start with a Low-FODMAP diet, sleep on left your side and go for lighter meals at night for better sleep. Start including one boiled apple in your diet for better bowel movement. You can check on our website for further evidence based details.

IBS-M — the mixed type — requires careful management because the interventions for constipation and diarrhea episodes are different. A protocol that adapts week by week based on which pattern is dominant is what gives consistent improvement.

Most gut treatments are designed to be taken indefinitely. Antacids. PPIs. Probiotics. The goal is management, not healing. At Thavira Health, our goal is the opposite — to get you completely off medication by the end of your protocol. Our AYUSH-certified doctors use a personalised, sequenced combination of naturopathy, herbology, supplements, yoga, meditation, acupressure, and hydrotherapy. Not all at once — in the right order, at the right time, for your specific condition. If permanent healing sounds like what you've been looking for, our webinar is the right place to start — or book a consultation call directly: thavira.health.
