My 8-year-old daughter is burping and passing gas. What could be the reason and what can we do?
Burping and farting is common in kids because they often chew fast, eat junk food, have irregular meal timings and sometimes a weaker digestion. It is not a serious problem. Make sure she eats slowly and chews her food properly. Reduce chips, biscuits and other junk food intake. Encourage her to move around and play. If the gas and burping starts affecting her hunger and appetite, I would recommend showing her to a pediatrician.
Excessive burping and gas in children is almost always diet and habit-related rather than structural. Small, consistent changes to eating pace and food choices typically resolve it within two to three weeks.
Thavira doesn't sell supplements. We don't have a product line. We have doctors — AYUSH-certified, BNYS-qualified — who treat chronic gut conditions using an integrated clinical protocol. Naturopathy, herbology, yoga, meditation, acupressure, hydrotherapy, and targeted supplementation — all sequenced and personalised to your body. The goal is that by the end of your protocol, you don't need us anymore. Your gut heals, the supplements phase out, and you live normally. That's what permanent healing looks like.
