I am suffering with chronic gastritis with H.pylori from 2 years. Now h pylori is negative, but I am still suffering with severe acid reflux, gastritis, breathing problems. How much time does it take for symptoms to go away after hpylori eradication?
Hello Madhuri, I understand how distressing it is to continue having acidity, reflux, and breathing discomfort even after triple therapy treatment.
After eradication, symptoms can persist because the stomach lining and acid regulation take time to heal, and prolonged inflammation often leads to acid sensitivity, weak LES function, and gut–nerve irritation.
For now, follow small frequent meals, early dinners, avoid spicy and acidic foods, and include soothing supports like warm water, rice gruel, ash gourd or aloe vera juice, along with slow breathing practices to reduce reflux-triggered breathlessness. If following all of it seems overwhelming, you can always contact us - our team will gladly help you out with the healing process.
Here's what life looks like for most Thavira patients after completing the protocol — eating without a list of safe foods, sleeping without reflux interrupting the night, going through a full day without a single gut symptom. No antacid before meals. No emergency bathroom calculations. Just normal. That's the outcome we design every protocol around. Our AYUSH-certified doctors use 7 integrated healing modalities — personalised, sequenced, and adjusted weekly. Want to see the path from where you are to where you want to be?
