Gut-Brain
Question

I am always tired even after having a good sleep 12 hours. My weight is also not reducing no matter what I do. Is it gut-related?

Doctor's Answer

Hello, our gut and brain are like two way communicating system - like how the brain sends signals similarly our gut also sends back. Our gut bacteria is so beautifully present with a mutual understanding with the body that they produce 90% of serotonin which is also called a happy hormone and is required for melatonin synthesis too. If even one of them are at imbalance then you'll feel the slight shift in your mental health leading to brain fog and reduced focus and with the poor nutrition with not enough reaching your cells the constant tiredness and weight is explained. Everything you tried probably had clinical value. The probiotic, the herbs, the diet — each one is part of the answer. But gut healing isn't about the ingredients. It's about the order. You can't rebuild good bacteria without first healing the lining. You can't heal the lining without removing what's damaging it. You can't do any of it sustainably without addressing the nervous system. At Thavira Health, our doctors follow the sequence — and that changes everything.
